How to block a specific number with sony xperia z3 compact?

Hi I have been receiving harrassing sms and calls and would like to block this specific number. my mobile service provider cannot block for me. Does Sony Xperia have this inbuilt function?

quick question regarding adding these to voicemail, i have disabled voicemail via provider so if i add this number to voicemail what will happen?

voicemail doesnt appeal to me as i can see by the number who i missed and call back, its just im sick of these calls and would like to block them

Hi uliwooly
I just found out there is an option to block the unwanted number if it's in your contact list. Just select the contact>edit contact>top right hand corner press the: dots and select all calls to voicemail.
Then if the contact tried to call you they be redirected to voicemail.

Did you ever find a way to block unwanted calls without redirecting them to voicemail. I have the same issue. Also have a Z3 Compact.
