horrible call problem

Hello friends, i´ve a big problem with my Xperia P...During the call I can´t hear the other side /at start of call a few words are ok, but then i hear nothing don´t know why, when i calling on some info line everything is ok but when the call pick up some person and will start talking speaker crash/ , so i must turn on a loud speaker to communicate...really horrible...i´m loosing my privacy when the other 20 people hear my private call   any idea? Thx

p.s. all official updates /in update center are installed/ Android version : 2.3.7 Core version : 2.6.35.7+

If you have already tried an update to resolve this, then I am only left with advising you to return the phone so that it may be assessed by an authorised repair agent.
