I like Slow-Mode Videos very very much,
I know the Z2 can record 2160p @ 30fps, 1080p @ 60 fps and 720p @ 120 fps.
And if I thought a while about this pure numbers and did some math:
2160p @ 30 fps = 248832000 pixel per second
1080p @ 60 fps = 124416000 pps
720p @ 120 fps = 110592000 pps
So from the pure pixels per second there sould be much more possible from the pure calculating Speed, 2160p is the maximum pixels per second and the maximum Mbps (means Card write speed too) so from this point 1080p @ 120 fps = same pixels per second as 2160p
also 720p @ 240 fps = 221184000 (still lower than 2160p)
and something like the GoPro does (848x480) should be easily possible with 400 fps
848x480 @ 400 fps = 162816000 pps
So is there any way to see some more slow mode features with any future updates?
Or is it possible to make a Timeshift Video App wich delivers more fps modes in different resolutions?
It would be nice to have 240fps recording if there is hardware capability for it.
Z2 is a great phone, and I've read that maybe because of heat problems there is no implementation of ultra slow motion or whatever it's called, but one minute max of 240fps recording would be more than enough.
Cheers.
