hi just bought a xperia again happy so far  ,i did have a sam note 1  which is a nice phone but i'v only 1 arm and was finding the size a little awkward so well come back to sony

Glad to see that you have chosen Sony again! 

When it comes to the recording problem you have experienced, is this both when played in the phone and on a PC?

First of all have you removed all protecting films from the phone?

Do you have any cover on the phone? In that case try to remove it and try to record a video without. 

I also suggest that you clear data under settings > app > all> camera > clear data. Restart the phone and try again.

Hi..please I need assistance like seriously... @first I was hearten when the xperia z1 was out as a modification on the xperia z. Especially the camera which was disappointing when compared with lumia. 920, can't allow me to record video due to high temperature on regular basis, and burning my ears when making calls, I can't make calls on loudspeaker else the recipient wouldn't hear a word, always need to charge the battery after four hours of usage from when fully charged, and very poor audio output when compared to other phones, can't even hear your songs where HTC one is playing... The one thing am hearten about the z1 is it ability to survive water immersion while playing song only that the audio diminished to zero output but later stabilise... These made me found Sony to be daunting on a sincere and clear facts from experience...
