help please with video recording and sharing

hi, recently got an xperia s and struggling with video recorder.  had a w995 for long time and was able to video, trim and send really easily.  i do figure skating and need to video jumps and spins - then watch back usually in slow motion (which again i cant seem to do on the xperia - but could on the 995- and then i sometimes send footage to my sister - who also skates - used to send video directly to her iphone through my mms  - usally file would be too big but 995 would just trim and then send off straight away.  even when using video set on mms setting the file comes up as too big - and to be honest the quality on the mms setting is not great - especially after filming in higher setting.  any suggestions would be most welcome,  all i want to do is view in slow motion and be able to send directly to my sisters phone or email quickly and easily - the video footage only lasts for about 10 secs.  many thanks

I suggest that you set the video quality to MMS, this should limit the file size to MMS standard.

If you would like to use better quality video clips you will have to use any video trimming application and trim the video clip to 300kb or less to be able to send it as an MMS. Check on Google play store, there might be MMS video app's available especially designed for this.
