heart rate monitor

Im looking fore a heart rate monitor there is compatible with my Sony Xperia Go AND the sporttracker ENDOMONDO.

Do you have any sugestions?

I have been looking at the Polar H7 Bluetooth 4.0 Heart Rate Sensor Set, but can't figure if it is compatible with my phone?

I'd say try contacting the manufacturer of the Polar device to get information about compatibility

Since this gadget supports bluetooth 4.0 and Xperia Go's Bluetooth is 3.0, I don't think this thing will work in Xperia Go.

Bluetooth 4.0 is backward-compatible with all other versions of Bluetooth,

However, you will not enjoy the benefit of having a BT4.0 device unless both device are BT4.0.

The main benefit is its low-energy technology.

So, why pay for someting which you don't get to benefit...????

I forgot to mention that the app needs to be able to support a BT heart rate monitor as well. Don't forget to check this up.

I have Xperia go, I tried to use Polar heart rate monitor, but it didn´t work with it.

Is there any intention from SONY developers to patch the kernel to comunicate with Polar Wearlink? I don't want ride in MTB with Galaxy Tab, due to "active" phone bought..
