Headset Problem

When I plug in a headset to my Xperia Z tablet the Walkman app automatically starts. How do I stop this?

Thanks but there are no events shown in my Smart Connect. So I can't see why Walkman starts

If you go into Smart Connect > Devices > Headphones, is there anything listed in there?

Have you tried performing a factory data reset at all?

I just tried my tablet and nothing happens when I plugin headphones.

My Smart Connect has events that depend on headphones but they are turned off by default.

I didn't touch Smart Connect so that's what it came w/ from factory.

Does your Smart Connect:

- not show anything right now, but it used to ?

- did you change settings in there ? did you play w/ it ?

I wonder if the GUI and the underlying OS settings (I'm guessing udev) got out of sync.

Maybe you can add the necessary events again in Smart Connect and turn them off explicitely.
