Y there is no headset icon. In xperia M4 aqua

There isn't any headset icon and there has never been on the xperias. What you might have seen was another app that popped up an icon in status bar when you connected headphones, like smart connect.

A while ago their used to be an icon with the headphones symbol, but this has since been phased out.
