Headphones stopped working with 9.2.A.0.295

Hello, I have a Xperia V. This afternoon I updated my phone from (i think) 4.1 to 4.3. 

The problem I have is that my AKG K619 headphones are not working. In 4.1 they worked, althought it said that the addons (volume controll) didn't work. But sound came out of the headphones.

Now, thought when I plug them in there is no "warning-popup" and when I play music the sound comes from the phones speaker. They work fine on iPad/iPhone and my other in-ear sony headphones are still working. Obviously a software problem. 

Enyone knows a solution to the problem?

Same problem with b&w p5 with iphone-type cable. If it is not a bug at least message about unsupported equipment would be appropriate. I do beleive 3.5mm jack was designed many years ago with compatibility in mind. Audio playback is essential. Headphones' nature matters. Sony, fix this please.

Same problem for me. The headphones with volume controle ("made for iphone"), no longer work. Got the "not compatible" before the update, but also got sound. Now I get nothing.

Same here. My headphones was workin just fine with my Xperia V before and now it no longer works but when I plug in my Sony earbuds it works just fine. I tried my other headphones/earbuds some of em work on my Xperia V and some of em don't. [ALL of
of the headphones/earbuds that I've used works on my Ipod/laptop/etc.]

Same problem here and it's really annoying. Has someone found a solution for this? I tried to use Sony's CTIA to OMTP adapter but it's not working either.

I have the same problem! I just recently bought a pair of BOSE SIE2 with great sound that I used everyday and after the update do they not work at all! This is i bug that is far more important to fix then the coulor of some buttons. 🙂
