Headphones problems

My Sony xperia j wont play anything through the headphones anymore, they use to work but now it doesn't and I have checked the head phones I am using on other devices and they are still working. So could you help with this problem ??

When you plug your headphone and play a mp3/video file you have:

- No audio from both internal speaker and headphone

- Audio only from internal speaker

Try to boot phone in safe mode and check if issue is the same

• Turn off the device.
• Press and hold down the power key  until the phone vibrates.
• Wait until the Xperia™ logotype disappears.
• Press and hold the volume down key. The device then restarts in safe mode.
• To exit safe mode, restart the device.

Download toggleheadset 2 in google store. This is because the headphone detection doesn't work due to hardware problems. This app helps fix this issue. Hope this helps.
