I use my phone above all to listen to music, since update smartconnect messes with the heaphone settings, rejects the headphones or if connection is made AUTOMATICALLY LOWERS THE VOLUME TO ZERO. Tried every available setting even download other connection app. Since the lovely update doesnt let you disable certain apps like sonys Album which is useless and makes blury photos by the way the smartconnect cant be disabled either it s just reenables itself every time I plug the headphones in. Or in the case of Album every time I use the speedy option from lock screen.
Makes me wanna thow the thing away, wroked perfectly with my downloaded apps (bought android to be able customize this way) now you re forced to use faulty apps which are difficult to change not intuitive to use and makes you go CRAZY every time you wanna listen to a song and the **bleep** phone silents itself.
Sort it out Sony, connecting an own branded headphone should be flawlwss like it always were. (the same ones worked before update)
