My right headphone doesn't work. I put the same headphones in a pc and works well. It happened with different headphones.
Check the 3.5mm input for dirt or lint. Clean it with a cotton swab.
hi,
is the headphone you are using says it is compatible with android devices?
have you tried using another headphones?
can you check the audio jack for any defects or dirt
Actually i've also same issue in my phone. Right chanel sound is really slow. I've used couple of headphones but still having same issue. Sometimes i heard cracking noice in right chanel as well.
Hi @Taurion, I'm very sorry about that.
Could you elaborate on what you mean by really slow, is the sound delayed compared to the left channel? Have you also tried to clean the 3.5mm-port using a toothbrush, wooden toothpick or tried blowing in the port to make sure it's clear from dirt and dust?
Let me know about what you're experiencing in a bit more detail and I'll do my best to assist!
Actually what i meant was about the audio issues is it's not slow, It's low. it means volume is low in right channel. And i heard sometimes really loud cracking noice in both channels. I have tested it using couple of headphones but issue happened in every headphones. When i answer call through the headphones i head different kind of noises even can’t hear voice from other side. Actually now i need to know it’s because what kind of issue? it’s because of main board issue? i'm really glad if you can answer for my question.:smileysad:
Now I understand what you mean, thank you for clearing it up!
If the same behaviour occurs with different headphones then it may be hardware related, but first I would suggest that you test both safe mode and finally a software repair using Xperia Companion to see if that helps. Should it still persist, then I recommend that you get in touch with your Local support in order to have your device sent to service.
