headphone plugging problem

I ought a new xperia z2 before 2 days. Whenever i connect headphone to my xperia Z1 c6902 the power button stops working for a while if i want to lock or stop the display light i cant do that but after  a min (approx.) it works. Can anyone help me plz.....

If you can, return the device to the store, it seems to be a hardware issue.

settings, apps, all, smart connect, clear data, restart the phone

That does seems like a hardware issue
