Head set problem

Hi i am trying to get some help in fixing my head phone cant hear anything when it is plug into the device try the  ear phone on other device and it works help please.

Have you tried to connect another headset to the phone? Does it work? 

Try to turn off your phone and remove the battery for a while if you haven't tried that yet. Also you can try to blow down the 3,5 mm contact to remove any kind of dirt from the contact.
