head fone jack

i tried to connect my fone to the radio using a 3.5mm jack after a while the fone went on restarting for at least 3 tries ,after which the fone will never display its sony icon anymore but still the fone I believed to be powered ,just with out  a display..please help me

Try repairing the software via PC Companion at first. Get back to me if it doesn't work.

samuel thank you ,i tried taht last night but to no avail.I charged my fone the whole night but it was kind of different because when it does red light is evident ,last it didn't appear to be like that i thought for a while i was having trouble with my lcd,but ,when i woke up it was charging because the red light was on,i pulled  out the charger ,then re charge it again,15 mins after i attempted to power it on..I was glad it did turn on..BUT ,thanks to this community...I would appreciate to have an explanation waht went wrong with my xperia ion...

Ah, I'm glad to hear.

If the phone battery is completely(100%) drained it might take up to 30 minutes before even the LED shows some indication of charging. So, hopefully your phone will work as intended from now on. If you experience any further issues, don't hesitate to reply again
