HDMI Wifi Problems

Hello, i have the following problem:

Using wifi without HdMI connected to Beamer -> No Problem, ping 50ms, download rate 8000 kb/s

Using wifi with HDMI connected: Wifi is hanging, i cant download anything, sometimes wifi goes away by itself and sometimes the Internet of the router goes down.

So i think this is a HDMI Hardware Issue or a WIFI Software Isue.. how can i solve that problem?

Saw that with an Xperia Neo V. Charge the phone while it's connected with the HDMI Cable, should work fine. Worked on a friend's Neo V.

But this is not a fix of this problem. its an unnromal problem. but thanks for the answer...

Maybe it needs much more power than the usual and doesn't allow the WiFi to get it. Maybe i'm wrong but that's my guess!
Try with the Charger too and let me know :smileywink:.

i tested it, wifi speed is 400 kb/s, but often wifi shut downs itself.. I will change my device tomorrow.. lets see if it is a device bug !

Bad luck i don't have mine to test it, i sent it back because it was a faulty one.
Anyway, hope it is a device bug and get your new one!

Wi-fi post-ICS upgrade is problematic for a lot of people. Check out this thread - http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/49541

Some are even experiencing problems with their routers or other devices connected to the router which sounds like the issue you are having.

I don't know, mine was rock solid on WiFi Connection. Worked it for several hours on b/g. It's a USRobotics, pretty solid for a Router. Never had an issue with it.
I'm getting back mine on Thursday and i'm gonna test it with the pre-installed firmware and the ICS.

(Also i don't see the USB OTG working on ICS with an Adapter i got. Gotta test it too on GB before updating).
