HBH IS800

Hi, My name is Bhargav and I recently bought the wireless headset mentioned above (HBH IS800). I have a small problem with the headset. Whenever a call comes in, I dont hear the ringtone or the song I assigned as a ringtone. Instead, the default sony ericsson tune rings in the headphones. At the same time, the phone is ringing in the actually specified ringtone I selected. Can you please help me with this?

I'm using a similar Bluetooth headset (HBH-DS205) with my W995 and have exactly the same issue.Having played around with all the Bluetooth and call settings in the phone, it still does the same. Perhaps that's the way it is, or perhaps somebody else has a workaround.

Hi Jeff. When you say "this is as designed", do you mean that the same ringtone will be heard even when paired with a different brand mobile? Also, you said we may see changes in the future. So, does that mean that the firmware of HBH IS800 can be updated?

1. Yes, as far as I'm aware.

2. I was referring to future bluetooth headsets. I don't see plans to offer updates; I'm sure the PROCESS of updating is possible, however it is unlikely.
