First of all, I would like to state my dissatisfaction with both Sony Mobile UK and Three UK consumer services. I bought Xperia Z5 Compact on a pay monthly contract scheme on 9th October 2015 from Three UK. I very much liked the design and the features Z5 Compact has to offer, and I still like it, this is the best device for me on the market. However, this does not eliminate the fact that Sony Mobile UK and Three UK's customer services has been of NO HELP to me! The day I bought the phone, the clerk at the store informed me of the joint offer between Sony and Three, where for people buying Z5 or Z5 Compact from Three, there'd be a discount on either a PS4 or a PS4 game and accesory kit. I decided to buy the game and accessory kit. What was needed for me to go on to the https://xperiathreeoffer.co.uk website, enter my device's IMEI and my details, and to make the payment, after which the people from Sony would go and confirm my details with Three UK and dispatch my item. The website clearly stated that it'd some time, like a month, before they dispatch my item. I made the payment and received the confirmation email, including a reference number. After that I neither heard from Three or Sony, nor received my item! I waited for a month before contacting Three, and they gave me the number of special customer line responsible for this offer. I phoned them several times before Christmas and EVERY, SINGLE, TIME, they took my identity, and when I told them I paid and did everything the website asked me but still haven't got my items, they said they'd going to look into it and return to me BUT THEY NEVER DID! And, I being a uni student, couldn't ring them again because of my busy timetable and exams since Christmas. THEY JUST STALLED ME, AND HOPED THAT I'D FORGET ABOUT IT! But I didn't! Is this what the real face of Sony Customer Service is? Someone please just explain it to me! I know it's just £9.99, so I don't want to b.tch about it, but you proposed an offer to me and I took it and in return, received A BIG WHOLE NOTHING! Is there a Sony representative on this damned website who can give me and explanation?!
They say the opposite thing. I've been to the store that I bought my phone from, and each time they tried to call the same number as me and talk to the person at the other side instead of me but they couldn't be of help as well and told me that this offer is made by another company rather than Three (they mean Sony), so any queries should be solved with Sony...
To be honest, I didn't think Local Support would be able to resolve this and I already lost my patience. I might as well try to chat with them tomorrow but I don't think this will be resolved. If they intended to resolve this, they would have returned to me sayin either "we did bla bla bla and it's ok we're sending it" or "we have a problem with bla bla, can you do bla bla bla and we can finalize the procedure and send you the item". They did not return to me neither positively nor negatively, they just try to ignore me and pocket the £9.99 I paid....

I didn't know that. The last time I've been to the store before exams (technically around Christmas), they told me to demand a refund from Sony, they said they don't believe "Sony" would return to me after spending so much time at phone trying. Shameless really...
Thanks for the heads up, another case of a carrier/network not being honest / transparent.
