Hi, I ran the App PREY to see if it would locate my SP and now the phone is locked. I've tried all day and been on the PREY forums to no avail. I've decided to do a hard reset but can't do it. I've turned the phone off, then held the power button and volume button and it just brings me to a SIM lock password screen which I input and then to a password screen which PREY has generated and I can't get by it. What do I need to do to get the phone to turn on and do a hard reset without going to password screens? The off switch behind the back cover is no good to me. I cannot get to settings on the phone either as I can't access anything in the phone. Thanks.
You can try this,enter your email,change the password and try again.
If you need to reset your phone you can do this using PC Companion.

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phones software > Press the blue link 'repair phone' and then follow the instruction given to you in the program.
I'm having a similar problem, except my nephew was messing with my phone.. He changed the password and lost the sim card.
Without sim card and password, pc companion will not perform its function.. How can I factory reset it?

You can reset the phone by repairing the phone software using PC Companion:
In PC Companion, without the phone connected to the PC:
1. Press start on Support Zone
2. Start on Update the phones software
3. Press the blue link that says "Repair phone".
4. Follow the instructions in the program, it will tell you when and how to connect. The phone shall be turned off when connected to PC.
