Hard bricked - any help?

Hi

Sorry for the long post but please read anyone may be able to help. My xperia s appears to be hard bricked from what I have read. I've tried everything I've searched for with no luck.

My phone was rootoed and I flashed the leaked offcial version of jellybean onto the phone that DoomLord released over on XDA, it was working fine and I should have just been happy with that, but I decided I wanted to use his kernel but couldn't enter recovery on that ROM for some reason?? So ended up renaming the kernel file boot.img (which could be my downfall) and flashing it via fastboot dos screen with the command 'fastboot.exe flash boot boot.img' doing this has worked many times for me before with no problems until now.

Basically my phone is off, it won't respond to anything really, no form of button combinations work, I can't put it in flash mode or fastboot so I can use flashtool on it, the only response it gives is when it's plugged in via wall charger or laptop usb, it gives me an orange LED.

I've tried the rubber band trick I read about but it just kept the phone on charge while it was attached to the laptop. the phone has been off charge now for 4 days but still gives me the orange LED instantly when it's plugged in, the computer doesn't recognize anything is attached.
