hanging up..

Hi.. I am using sony xperia sola from past 2 years and facing hanging problem many times but it either automatically restart or by power button i can able to start the phone again. Today morning i was just checking locaion using viber App and suddenly my phone got hang, i removed sim card and was trying to off the phone using power button but i was unable to make the phone work, then i pressed power button + up volume key then it turned off. I am unable to recognize the problem. please help.

The phone freezes or applications suddenly shut down

Downloaded applications can cause the phone to behave unexpectedly or affect the phone performance. Use safe mode to check if any downloaded application causes the problem. In safe mode, the phone only starts with preinstalled software and applications. If the phone performance improves in safe mode, it’s likely that one or more of the downloaded applications are affecting the phone negatively. You can then uninstall the most recently downloaded application and restart the phone.

To enable safe mode

1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold down the power key until the phone vibrates.
3. Wait until the Xperia™ logotype appears.
4. Press and hold the volume down key. The device then restarts in safe mode.

Note: To exit safe mode, restart the device.
