If you only have GPS-enabled, not Google's location services under settings > location services it might take longer for the GPS to find your position. Also you have to be outside for the GPS to find your position.
If you still not receiving any position I recommend that you open the service menu by pressing *#*#7378423#*#* in the dialer. Go to service tests > GPS > purge assistance data. Restart your phone and try again.
