GPRS CHARGE

Hello people from Sony's support forum, I have a question.

I am from Brasil and my carrier(called Oi ) is charging me for use GPRS(might be EDGE), they have a promotion like that: when I turn on mobile data connection they charge me 0,99 cents per day.  The problem is: i am NOT turning ON mobile data connection(I just use wifi,  i just use mobile data on my 2º phone with another carrier), but they still charging me!!  Then  I have restricted background data, they keep charge me.  Then I install firewall restricting the apps connect internet thru mobile data, but they keep charge me!!!

Is there a way of android exchanging information with the carrier, even if just to say "hello"?

What if you remove the APN settings and also turn off the data?

No! did not works, I will file complain against the carrier.

No updates.  The ZU is the only smartphone that I have had that shows the little letter that refer to mobile data even if the mobile data is off!
