Google United States instead of United Kingdom.

When I hit on my profile pic on my Google home page it brings up the image I have cropped which shows Google United States instead of United Kingdom, I've tapped on the dropdown box to change from US to UK but it keeps reverting back to the Google United States as per my image attached. 

Anything else I can do to permanently change this to UK?

Also why is it that when I hit browse for image on this forum using Google Chrome nothing happens when I browse for file, yet it works fine using Firefox? Both using the full site I hasten to add using my smartphone.

Check your Google account settings at accounts.google.com

Thanks, funny thing is that under account preferences it shows language set as United Kingdom which is correct, so I'm a little confused.

Perhaps it's showing US because the account is organised by Google in the US?
