Google Play Store does not work

Hi there,

I just bought a used, but relatively new Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro via Ebay.

The phone is working well and the new Android (4.04) is already installed.

My problem is: I cannot open any "Google"-based apps! - Meaning, i can't login into my google-account, i can't start google-mail or anything else!

If I tipp the app, it flashes shortly and then runs in the background, but it doesn't really open, or stays open so that I might work with it.

Does anyone have an answer what to do?

Depending on what market the phone was intended for originally, not all Google apps might be working.
