google play missing

Can someone please help? Google play seems to have deleted itself from my z2 tablet and everytime I now enter a Google play application it says Google play services is not supported by my device? Please contact manufacturer?! I have no idea how this happened, presumably after some update? I can no longer download or update apps, or use any of the Google apps.

Also when is Sony going to sort out the keypad? It is terrible and very slow!!? And I have purchased movies from video unlimited that do not show under the movies profile. One does ut the others are missing. They work fine on my z1 phone?! Considering this is one of Sonys flagship tablets I have been very disappointed with the z2 tablet. And I am a fan of Sony.

What country are you in? as in Some countries Google is not an allowed app or apps

I'm in UK. It has been working fine on the tablet since we purchased it several months ago.
It is only the last few days that it has gone.

Open Settings then Apps and swipe to All then see if you can locate Google Play if you do then open it and tap on Uninstall updates from the top right corner then reboot and check as it may have been a bad app update

Google play is missing from the apps list (I have searched through 'all' too)? I have uninstalled updates from Google play services and hangouts, and rebooted but still Google play is still missing? Google play movies, books, games newstand etc are still there. Just no Google play?

I have a z1 phone too and just to confirm, it is Google Play Store that is missing from the apps list on the z2 tablet.

I have downloaded an apk file for Google play store and managed to install latest version on the tablet. Rebooted and it all seems to work now. Thanks for help though.
