When I press "gmail" icon in the menu, a black page is shown and says:
waiting for sync
Your email will appear shortly
and is remains in this state. No action....
What is the problem?
You have an issue with your market and now your gmail, I think there might be something going on, repair it with SUS or PCC

Is there anyway to reset all to factory?
I have to say it s the fourth day I bought this phone! and still exploring it....
yeah you could do a factory reset, but I would suggest to repair your phone's software instead using Update Service
Setting->privacy->factory data reset. ok?
I have to backup files first.
but if there's a bug with your current software it won't be fixed
