gmail exchange option missing

Why can't I add my business/ corporate exchange account to my Gmail? The option seems to be missing. I coud install exchange services APK but if I install all secondary accounts won't work either for the exchange business account within Gmail.  Anyone?

As Gmail is a Google app then you need to speak to the developer

You are kidding right?  Gmail works just fine with exchange on all other Android devices, so this has clearly to do with the Sony lolipop Rom and not the Gmail App.

I don't think Sony would mess around in Google's app, especially when it is loaded natively from Google Play Store.

I've just checked three devices. No Exchange services are present in Gmail App in any of these devices.

- Xperia Z2 Tablet SGP 511 running Android 4.4.4

- Xperia Z3 Compact running Android 5.0.2

- Samsung Galaxy Ace S4 running Android 4.4.2

So I would follow @Thommo recommendation and contact with Gmail's app developers.
