Genuine or not

Hello, I am the proud owner of the Xperia P(or at least so do i think) i want to check if it is genuine or not. What worried me is that on the box it was written it was made in china, and it scored quite a low score on the antutu benchmark(compared to a friend's Samsung Galaxy SII) My score was 4343. Checking the imei on both http://www.numberingplans.com/?page=analysis⊂=imeinr  and http://www.imei.info/     it didn't show up as a xperia P.

I had updated it via wi-fi to jelly bean(official sony update) and the phone behaves well, and looks gorgeous but i am worried, how can i know if it's a fake or a genuine sony product? Thanks in advance !

What phone did it show on those sites? You should know that on my box it also says made in China, but everything was in german for the phone, and when i checked the imei on those sites,it told me Xperia P for the european market(most probably intended for germany). It really does not matter if it is made in china or somewhere else, the people there work for less money, but if the phone is intended for a good market(ex for european),the pieces will be of good quality.

1. thanks alexdon for the quick reply !

2.on the imei.info site it shows as a Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700 and on numbering plans i get this note:" Note: This IMEI number seems to be correct, but we do not have any information on this specific handset. Please add the missing information below."

When i first powered up my phone it was set up in chinese(i think) and i managed to put it in english. If it's made for the chinese market is it a lower quality phone? or what should i expect?

I am not sure of what you should expect, but it is very strange that you get the Samsung message,if it was just the no information answer,it would have been better.Actually,do not expect anything, just enjoy your phone and its performance. It could very well act good and have no problems,so do not worry. As for the Antutu score, all Xperia Ps get lower scores than SGS2,unfortunately.If a moderator sees this, maybe they have more info about the imei showing other phones.Enjoy your phone! It is a Sony product, but my guess is that it is for the asian(chinese) market. You have not experienced anything odd with it until now, have you?

Only the specific jelly bean update issues... Call dialer sometimes lags but besides that, no issues. I don't even have battery problems(but that may be due to the fact that i'm not a very heavy user). I am enjoying it, really love it actually, I was just worried that it could break down anytime soon.
