Gallery problem

I use Experia Neo L. While scrolling through Gallery,  I see images which have been deleted from the DCIM folder.

These pictures appear for a second or two and disappear.

This is really annoying and sometimes pose a privacy threat.

And sometimes when I take a picture using the camera it does not show in the Gallery.

I am considering to stop using this phone or simply sell it off.

Please provide a solution

Strange! I suggest that you clear data for album and media storage. Go to settings > apps > all > album/media storage > clear data. Restart the phone and wait for it to index all media files again.
