Future update feature request for keyboard

Hi team Sony Ericsson!

If I had one wish for improving the Mini Pro software it would be to the select, copy, cut, paste type functions. Currently you have to use the inbuilt/native Android methods to acheive the above, which are pretty horrible to use imho. I believe this isn't making use of the great keyboard the Mini Pro has been blessed with.

Please please please, can you update the firmware so that you can select text by using something like SHIFT + CURSOR keys and also add support for the copy, cut, paste with something again like SHIFT + C, SHIFT + X and SHIFT + V.

Thank you Slightly_smiling_Face

I agree, selecting text with the drag things is very irritating on the Mini's small screen.

Totally agree, and I hope someone is working on it.

It seems that it should be a standard implementation on Android devices with a physical keyboard.

I would like to add some suggestions:

The [Mode Toggle] key works in the standard applications when held down in combination with the arrow keys to move to the start/end of line or beginning/end of the text.

If possible, it would be efficient to make selections by holding down both [Shift]+[Mode] and use an arrow key to select from the cursor to the Beginning/End of line/text. (On the Mini Pro it is easy to hold [Shift]+[Mode] with one finger.)

I don't think the [Shift]+V you suggest to Paste will work. (When pasting you are often in normal writing mode, and will enter a 'V' character).

Instead I hope that the Menu 'touch'-button in combination with V (and C/X) keys could be used.
