Frozen Ray

Hello People,

I bought a xperia ray from U.A.E, It was working so fine and i updated to ICS ....

When I updated to ICS it shows android has stopped unexectedly , and it shuted down...

And I tried to turn on but it didnt it shows low battery ! ! I tried to change the battery still didnt ...

I TRIED TO CONNECT TO SONY BRIDGE BUT IT STILL DIDNT CONNECT ! !

I THINK MY PHONE IS FROZEN ! ! ! ! !

PLZ HELP ! !

Remove the battery for a few minutes.

Insert the battery.

Phone no turn.

Connect the charger (use original charger and cable).

Charge the phone while turned off for about 5 hours.

If it does not charge additional options:

- try another cable and charger

- try another battery

Do as veresova said

Remove the battery and reinsert it after few minutes

Connect your mobile to wall charger and let it charge for hours

I tried to do it but no response !

Ooops, now you need to reinstall the phone's software

Open bridge for mac and reinsall/ repair your phone's software

If you have windows PC then it would be much more easier

Here are the steps for Windows PC

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)

Update/Repair your phone via PCC or SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to).

Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

SUS ( Sony Update Service)  ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe

Unfortunately you can't do anything more from your side, you will have to visit service center

Did you try to use SUS on Windows PC ?

SUS is best for bricked device
