Now it happened also to me with my Xperia Z2... 1 day after I bought the phone (yesterday new in the shop) , today I took out the phone out of the front pocket of my trousers and saw that the inner front display - i think the LCD (its only inside - the outside front glass is ok and looks like new) is broken. So its also not possible to read the display anymore (see attached photos).
I have no clue how this could happen, because 30 minutes before I saw the crack I was using the phone normally and in this 30 minutes I did not do anything that could crack the display... I did not jump& run, or I was even not sitting somewhere in the office. There were also no keys ect in the pocket...
My phone before was a Xperia Z Ultra and it has a larger display and I was using this as a primary phone without any damage to the display...
I wrote already to SONYmobile Customer Service and waiting now for a reply. I hope that they ll agree that this is covered by the warranty, because its very unusual that the display cracks already on the first day... I think I was using the phone since yesterday only 2-3 hours in total :-).
Will keep you all here updated about the answer...
Regards Geffect
