Front Camera Quality

Hi Guys,

uhm , I'm questioning about the front camera quality of the Xperia P

well the 8mp camera is superb for me , no problems at all , well tha front is(but doesn't concern me that much)

well I've just compared my Xperia P's front camera to the iPhone 5's front camera,

and i'm questioning why does the front camera of the P is not that good as the Iphone 5

well the 8mp is no probem at all , I've compared it and it's better than the iphone.

will the front camera have any improvements for firmware updates? 😃

Well, the front-facing camera is just VGA (640x480 pixels) and is primarily intended for video calls so it won't take as good pictures as the one on the back. Not sure what resolution the iPhones front camera uses. Regarding the updates I doubt there will be any major improvements in terms of quality.

well the iphone 5's front camera is 1.3 megapixel while the p has 0.3 mp(VGA) , but I'm wondering why does the P's front camera is not that good , the front cam of the P is the same as the iPhone 4(not the 4s) and it has a high quality too @ VGA resolution when you took a picture, hope they fix it on the next updates , as I know Sony is Good at making camera's ~thanks for the Reply.
