My front camera just disappeared about a week ago and nothing seems to bring it back. I dont have the option to use the front camera in the camera app and I have ran diagnositics which the front camera failed yet it didnt give any solutions.
I have reset the phone but to no avail.. please help.
Thanks,
Adam
Looks like you need to visit your nearest local support centre to get the phone examined, use this link to find out how:

You can also give a try to PC Companion phone repair, this will do a clean installation of the latest firmware and will also wipe your internal memory.
Open PC companion -> Support zone -> Phone/tablet software update -> Repair my phone/tablet (blue link style). Follow the steps given, do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable.

Hi adammcd,
Welcome to the community,
On the chance that you may be using a Mac computer, please see the Bridge for Mac instructions below for a software repair.
And Bridge for Mac:
1. Launch Bridge for MAC without the handset connected.
2. On the Main Window select "Xperia > Repair Xperia Device".
3. Ensure the phone is charged and select "Ok" in the following window.
4. Select Continue on the following page.
5. Wait until the initialising step is finished the continue as below.
6 . Select your model of phone from the list that appears
7. Follow the connection steps that appear, ensuring that you are holding the relevant button down before during and after the connection phase until the update/repair begins.
let us know how you get on.
