Freeze for 10 mins

My xperia P froze for 10 mins today.

I didnt know how to restart it so i took out the sim, even then it didnt shut down or restart or something.

Also after 7 mins or so it started vibrating. Then after 2 mins it automatically shut down.

This is the third time my phone froze up.

Why is it happening?

And what can I do to avoid it?

Also, as a side question should i update my phone to the new version?

Hold down power and volume + and then it shuts down. This tip should be on the cover of the box.. 😉

do you have apps like, antivirus, ram boosters, battery savers, or the like? it may be an app is acting up,

if you want you can repair your phones using Sony update service:

don't forget to back up your data:

well it could well be the culprit !!but other factors might have also induced the same!! keep a track of the running services and see if there is any abnormal usage of ram by any application !! avoid using battery savers and other such apps
