Forgot my Screenlock PIN code. What do I do?

Basically, I tried the update service and I downloaded it. Turned the phone off. Connected in the USB. Was holding down the volume key (down) while plugging in the micro USB.  And nothing happended. Tried this 50million times and nothing happended. 

I need to unlock my phone somehow and the only way I know of is to reset it. But this update service way of resetting is not working. Can someone Please help me!?

So via sony update service it did not work?I suggest you check that you have at least 50% battery,and connect only when you are prompted with volume down.Here you can find sony update service:

I done it again with the battery at 81%. I waited at least 30 seconds for it to turn off, And while turned off, connected the usb to my computer. I then held down the volume key and plugged in the mirco usb into the phone (SONY XPERIA M). Nothing happended on the phone nor the update service. I do not know what I am doing wrong. Need other suggestions please. Thank you.

What windows are you using?Try the steps with connecting with volume down for more than one time.

I am currently using Windows 7 on my computer.

It should work fine.I suggest you try on another computer,if still not working,visit a sony service and they will repair it for you:
