Force stopped account and sync setting!!!!! Help!!!

I accidently force stopped the account and sync setting (Xperia play) and now my sim and all contacts has been wiped.

Can you restart thi if it has been stopped and can I get my contacts back????

Again restart the sync and it should work fine

If you accidentally deleted them then just go to your Gmail ID and go to contacts > click on more > restore > 1 week/day etc

This may sound stupid but how do I restart the sync???

Settings > accounts and sync > turn on

None of that worked. All contacts still gone

That Account and sync setting is still stopped too!

First go to gmail and check if your contacts are still there

If yes then restart your phone and then switch on wifi. Make sure Auto sync is on

Go to settings > account and sync > tap on your Gmail > Sync contacts > unmark it and then mark it ( Or if it's showhing tap to sync now then do it )

Make sure you are connected to wifi and wait for somtime. Let the contacts sync

Contacts is empty on g mail

Then you deleted it

Now follow the restore method

If you accidentally deleted them then just go to your Gmail ID and go to contacts > click on more > restore > 1 week/day etc

After restoring follow the method i just wrote above

Also do this

Contacts apps > press menu button > Filter > Mark all sub categories in phone contacts and Gmail contacts

There's nothing in the contacts in gmail when I restore them from a week ago.

Under the account and sync settings the data is at 0 and so is the cache. Is there a way to get this restarted???
