Force 4G only

Hello,

Is there a way to force 4G only on one of the sim cards of an Xperia M4 Aqua Dual?

I know 4G does not support voice calls, but I do not use this sim card for voice anyway. I use the other one for voice, and it is set to 2G only already.

As things are, I tend to use the 4G data sim card for wi-fi tethering on the move. But if it loses the 4G network for just a moment it hangs onto the 3G one. And the 3G network often stalls because of cell breathing.

I have read that some oter phones allow 4G-only with a service mode seting - might it exist for this phone?

What you can do is tell your carrier network, they might be able to assist you with this, the phone doesn't have a preset setting to force 4G, also check under

settings > about phone > status > signal strength, what do you see while on 4G?
