I Install U - Disco App in Xperia P, I opened this APP the following msg is appear

Device does not have the root access. This APP will not function...

think about a PC lets say that root access grant you administrator access not only you but the app, so you should be careful, check the app permissions, if it's a LED light show app does it need to have access to your phonecalls, contacts, internet access, etc?

is Sony spying on users in this forum?

Like uliwooly said, you get administrator privileges to edit the contents even further on your device. That can be very dangerous tho if you grant permissions to a malicious app.
