Hi, you will have to either take it back to your place of purchase & see what they advise or contact your local Xperia Care Centre, do a search on the Forum page for peoples posts regarding this problem

no it is not covered ...i had same problem, makes it not waterproof but hey, Sony don't cover anything as far as i can tell

Hi, as i mentioned earlier.....visit the shop where you purchased it or contact your local Xperia Care Centre & see what they say, try the shop first & try & demonstrate it happening, mention how its no use for waterproofing etc

Try to be firm but not aggressive & see what they say
