Flip case with magnet.

Hi,

I bought a brand new Xperia Z1. And I got a flip cover as free for purchasing the mobile. The flip cover has the magnetic lock.
Will that magnetic lock affect the mobile performance? Will it raise any negative issue?

(The magnet is present at the back of the phone)

I am in great confusion. Help me. Thanks in advance.

Strong magnets can damage the phone. But if it's a weaker magnet, the phone should not take any damage and/or affect your performance.

If you begin to experience trouble while using this flip case I would recommend you to remove the magnetic (if it's possible) otherwise you should remove this case.
