Emmmmmmm........biggest tip DONT FLEX YOUR PHONE:smileyrolleyes:
Seriously, it's not designed to be flexed......you will end up with a cracked screen.....agree with you re possibly it being in your pocket & it flexing slightly causing the flaps to 'spring loose' as there have been a few posts where people have taken the phone out of their pocket to find the flaps loose or totally open
But then again it depends on what pockets/tightness of said trousers etc.......i have had the Z, Z1 & now the Z2 & have never carried any of them in my front/back jeans pockets.....loose fit cargos are fine.....basically the phone is a 'glass sandwich' & a big smartphone...i know heeps of people who wont buy one simply because they cant carry it comfortably in their pocket.
Re the fogging on the lens tho......this should be looked at from where you bought it or your local Xperia Care Centre....
Good luck
Hi, didn't mean you flexed it hard......there was a post earlier this week from someone whose Z2 is is now slightly curved/flaps not sitting flush etc & he kept it in his pockets all the time......(check yours on a flat table)....i do think the slightest tension over time could cause tension on the glass.....my own opinion tho:smileysmileywink:
Sony use 3rd party repair centres in some countries......hence the delays if yours needs parts etc & hopefully the technicians have experience of the Zs:smileyshocked:
Can you not try where you purchased it first...might be worth a try?
Yeah, ive thought of the possiblity of it getting bent so i do check it from time to time so far so good though, thankfully. I dont wear skin tight jeans and all but better safe than sorry so thanks, i'll keep that in mind. Yep i went to Sony Centre first but they'd always just call the service center then talk a bit then they'd direct me there. Its a bummer though the people at the service center seem like they dont know what they're doing, i hope the tech's they're sending it to does xD
Well good luck & hopefully you wont have to wait too long & it all gets sorted out....keep us up to date...
Cheers:smileyhappy:
