No effort from Sony will make the xperia s a flagship phone in today's market, it simply can't compete.
My experience of Xperia S ownership was mostly one of disapointment in anticipation of Sony rectifying the problems. Unfortunatly after 1 year Sony still seem unable to make this phone work properly.
The xperia S is based on poor hardware architecture and a bad implementation of android. No firmware or os upgrade will fix a phone with so many problems (battery life, yellow screen dots, lag, poor multitasking performance, intermittent camera focus)
Do yourself a favour and get a proper phone. You wont regret it!
