what's a "hoax app"? and no, if the issue is this latest firmware only downgrading, debranding seems pointless as it will leave you with the same build number

A Hoax App is some thing which does not do what it promises to do...

like the network speed booster by Mc Stealth.

though the app promised to refresh the network by some cool graphics but it did not stand up to the promise as i still had no network after trying to refresh the network wit the app twice...

Just try this method cos it works for me for last 5 days

from settings go to mobile network  and choose WCDMA (preferred) /gsm. All the best

Same option is enabled in the phone by default and moreover i have set it to GSM only and reverted back but still no luck:(

Or, Disable/Switch off 2G Data before the phone goes to sleep mode. As many users observed, if the mobile goes to sleep mode with data active, it will lose signal.

So, change your screen timeout to atleast 2 mins and disable data when data is not needed - will help you, surely!
