Firmware 9.1.a.1.140

Begin june I recieved my new Experia T.(LT30P) After a few days there was an update to firmware 9.1.A.1.141. I updated the phone and all was working well or even better.

After a week the sound wasnt working anymore so I got a new Experia T from my provider. Before that I made a full backup of the "old" phone.

The new Experia T had firmware 9.1.A.1.140 and I restored the backup from the "old" T to this new T.

I expected an available update for the firmware but up till now it says its up-to-date but still firmware version 9.1.A.1.140.

Is it possible that the phone 'thinks' is has recieved the backup already through the restored backup from the previous experia T? Or is there another problem?

It should not matter that you have restored a backup from a later firmware in the phone. Most likely these phones have different SI-numbers and the .141 is not rolled out yet for the SI of your new phone.

You can however connect the phone to PC Companion or Update Service to check that there's no problem with the OTA-update.
