Is there no internal File Manger on the Z1C to move files to SD card? Other phones have "My Files" to do this. 3rd party apps don't have write access to SD card beginning with 4.4.

You cannot move apps to SD by default.And the best manager is File Commander because it is able to write on SD.

I don't want to move apps. I want to move files... pdf, mp3, mkv... I think file commander could not write to sd card under kitkat, if there's no root.

Of course it can,it is the one that can.Just try it and see.

Works very well to move files from internal memory to SD card. 

I liked it so I also paid USD0.99 (i guess) for extra features as recycle bin.

OK. File Commander is preinstalled. I've deactivated it by mistake. The system apps have write access to the SD card.

Is there a chance, that 3rd part yapplications can write to the external sd card on kitkat? Like Pixlr.

You could try with pixlr,the app is default,right?
