Hi there,
i would be great if ther we're a central discussion / feedback thread for Lollipop on our lovely Z3 / Z3C!
XDA Thread: Lollipop Is Rolling Out, What's Your Impression? List Bugs Here
Here are some points i noticed:
- No Access to Settings for toggles directly via Quick Setings (only WLAN/Bluetooth) as before.
- No cleaning all apps with single button in last apps.
- No option to deny WLAN AP to connect, if they dont serve internet on Z3C (it seems the Z3 on 4.4 have it)
Success.
If you too want shot of Lollipop . This is what to do...
Firstly don't forget to backup your contacts and SMSs before you start.

Sony don't make old versions of software available. But I found firmware here:
And here:
This is the same file available from two independant sources. I've downloaded both versions and run a file compare. I can confirm that this is the same software. But I can't confirm that it's not been fiddled with in a malicious way.
Instructions on flashing are here:

Yes, the instructions are not for the Z3 / Z3 Compact, but that doesn't matter. Ignore the link to the firmware in step 2 and download the firmware above instead.
Since getting the Flashtool itself was a pain, here's a direct link to the code:

I've lost pretty much all my setup and downloaded Apps. Never, ever again!
Which brings me to how to stop this happening again. As soon as the phone was rebooted, it started downloading new firmware....
Go to notifications and cancel the download.
Now touch and hold the notification until "App Info" appears. It should be Xperia Updater. Without Root Access you can't disable this app. Boo, hiss Sony, why not?
So I hit 'Force stop' & disable notifications.
I sincerely hope that helps.
Alexdon,
You edited my post to delete a flippant comment, I'm not sure you understood the reference...
It was a reference to the fictional detective Kojak, played by the late & great Telly Savallas. He had a catch phrase, and was renowned for always having a lollipop in his mouth. I quoted the catchphase, due to the Lollipop link and observed that my answer would be "I don't".
Not sure it was worth editing out, but hey.
@DeGraaff
"Can no longer long press a quick toggle to enter the respective settings menu."
Your right but if you tap the text below the icon you do get to the menu
