I Just left my Xperia Z in for repair. The phone is only 5 months old and developed charging problems... wouldn't charge and red light would come on for about 2 minuites or so.
The repair centre has said that there is a fault with the USB port and is catagorising it as 'physical damage' and is looking for €260 to fix ! The phone had been working fine up to the point when it would not charge The cable was never forced at any point and i've used the proper charger all times. There is not a mark on the phone . I'm waiting for the phone to return with the repair centre with report and i'm going to appeal the decision.
Has anybody else had this or a similar problem.
Any suggestions ?
