Failed Update with Mac = Phone reboot !

Hey hi !

I'm trying desperately to update my phone with sony bridge for mac but can't do it

I'm pluging the phone to the mac with the usb and click on the proceed button but after few seconds my phone shut itself off and so the update is aborted !

It does that everytime i tried, can anyone help me with that please ?

Have you tried re-installing Bridge for Mac to see if that might effect the action in some way?

Otherwise it sounds like it would be a good idea to try performing a repair of the phone's software with our program Sony PC Companion. PC Companion is only available for Windows computer I'm afraid, but will hopefully sort it out for you. You can download PC Companion on the link below.

Thank you for your answer but like you said Yep it wasn't successful to re-install sony bridge, i tried in a pc as well but now my phone isn't recogize on it
it is actually recognize as a camera and not a phone so the connection won't appear on pc companion !

Most of the ppl can now update under Mac using my proposed method. 

Also I just updated my Xperia P (yes, P) to ICS on my Mac last nite.
